Retail space hots up in Bangalore...
Reliance has kicked off its Bangalore foray by opening 11 stores Fresh stores. These are in addition to 80 stores across Andhra Pradesh, Jaipur, Chennai, Delhi/NCR and Ranchi. The chain professes its strength to be its supply chain with the aim of "farm to fork" with no middlemen and direct procurement from growers.
Each store would have around 20 trained personnel, including students offered part-time jobs, and the non-vegetarian foods would have a separate section with its own entry.
